Choose the task you need to complete
These resources address three recurring problems: entering information against the wrong office or period, retyping the same school details in different formats, and acting on an incomplete document. Start with the guide for your task. Each one describes the checks to make and the evidence to keep, so that a later correction can be understood by another member of staff.
Prepare a school submission
Check the office and reporting period, keep a working copy, and confirm that a submission was saved. Learn how to request a correction when editing is closed.
Create customised school forms
Find a form, add your school details and check the preview before printing or sharing a customised copy.
Review a school document
Work through eight checks before acting on a circular or using a form. Print the checklist or download a copy of your progress without uploading documents.
Public help and the private workspace
A public resource explains a process; it does not give access to a school's records. To view an existing submission or make an administrative change, use the account assigned to you and check the active role, district and office. If the necessary action is missing, ask the relevant administrator to check your assignment. Sharing another person's password is not a way to resolve a missing permission.
Before using a downloaded resource
Look for an issuing office, a reference, a date and any version information. Read the instructions that accompany a form before entering school or staff information. A copy circulated in a message may be incomplete or superseded. Use the document checklist to identify questions for the issuing office rather than treating a download as proof of approval.
When something does not match
Record the page address and the action you were trying to perform. A public help page can be reported through website support. A school submission that needs reopening should go to the responsible request administrator or portal administrator. Include the request title and the affected field, but keep private records out of a public message.
